Job description

The Mobile STI/HIV Testing Specialist contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV and/or STI testing and prevention services. A Mobile STI/HIV Testing Specialist provides courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness and testing programs.
The Mobile STI/HIV Testing Specialist enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient linkage, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, this role contributes to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty.
You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives.
To be successful as a Mobile STI/HIV Testing Specialist, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF, we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees.
AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Mobile STI/HIV Testing Specialist will work as a part of a close-knit team to provide free STI/HIV testing services, community outreach and assisting with linkage across the State of Ohio, as well as Detroit, MI. This role will also assist with appointment management, and requires proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports.
Licenses and Certifications: HIV testing certification provided by Ohio Department of Health; HIV/STI testing training provided by AHF's Public Health Division (PHD).
