Job description

Our client, a prestigious fashion company in New York City is seeking a Freelance Product Developer -Sampling with Coordinator with 2-3+ years of experience in sample management and tracking data in PLM. This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days onsite minimum.
  • Hourly pay range: $30-34.00 per hour based on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of all sampling-related needs for designated product categories, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of garment samples
  • Order and manage sample yardage
  • Communicate with raw materials vendors
  • Maintaining seasonal sample yardage cost reporting
  • Monitors milestone calendars to ensure that deadlines are met, issues are flagged, and updates to the team are timely.
  • Maintains effective communication with vendors and agents to ensure shipments are delivered on time; troubleshoots and resolves any issues that arise.
  • Perform daily tracking and maintain records of details, updates, changes for Centric PLM system and proto samples ensuring due dates are met
  • Communicating with raw materials suppliers and garment vendors
  • Takes initiative to utilize product knowledge to find new resources and creative methods of sourcing product to impact the assortment.
  • Supports continual development and refining of work flow, processes and tools in partnership with the Director.
  • Establishes and cultivates strong relationships with all internal and external business partners.

Required Qualifications:
  • Calendar Management experience
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (to include good listening & negotiation skills)
  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, have excellent follow-up skills; learning and using all appropriate contacts to gather information & drive solutions.
  • Computer skills - Microsoft office, Centric PLM, Salesforce, Excel Proficiency required
