Job Description

The Account Director plays a key leadership role in managing client relationships, overseeing program delivery, and ensuring excellence across every touchpoint. This role brings strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape to guide both clients and internal teams. The Account Director helps shape brand direction, ensures smooth execution, and drives opportunities for value and growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support precise project execution while ensuring process alignment and regulatory compliance
  • Manage timelines, anticipate barriers, and consistently deliver high-quality work that exceeds expectations
  • Oversee and guide project budgets, forecasts, and scopes in partnership with project management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver launch and in-market programs
  • Contribute strategic insights that inform account plans and elevate client outcomes
Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of client services experience in the advertising industry
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising experience
  • Experience managing $2–3M in business across brands or portfolios
  • Strong experience building relationships at the Product Manager and Associate Director level
  • Proven ability to lead client meetings, coordinate briefs, and communicate feedback clearly
  • Full understanding of pharma/healthcare marketing communications and regulatory considerations

Desired:

  • Experience supporting HCP-focused initiatives
  • Experience contributing to brand planning and launch preparation
  • Ability to translate client changes into clear internal direction
  • Comfort reviewing and developing scopes of work with project management
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for integrating AI into workflows
  • University degree required; MBA a plus

The base salary range for this position is between USD $120,000 to $150,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
