Our Columbia, South Carolina location is seeking an experienced legal assistant to join our Insurance Defense team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain attorney calendars, including court dates, depositions, hearings, and client meetings.

  • Track and manage litigation deadlines with precision.

  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents with courts and agencies.

  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel to arrange schedules and logistics.

  • Manage case files (electronic and physical), ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.

  • Assist with billing and time entry as needed.

  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in the practice group.

Qualifications
