POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Generalist is directly responsible for the day to day administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong time management, and problem solving skills

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Serves as the point of contact for employment relations and handling of sensitive and confidential employee issues. Investigates complaints, accidents; reports findings and suggests course of action or resolution.
  • Oversees the employment processes including recruitment, candidate screening, interviewing, pre-employment screening, and on-boarding. Facilitates and supports activities related to hiring and on-boarding contracted employees
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leaves, and employee recognition
  • Maintains accurate and complete employee records. Ensures confidentiality of all employee files and information
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned
