We are seeking an HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees, managers, and leadership while contributing to recruitment efforts, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, payroll and benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities


• Support the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.

• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.

• Process onboarding and offboarding documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

• Assist with employee transactions, including terminations, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, attendance, and time-off requests.

• Support payroll and benefits administration, including auditing invoices and verifying enrollments.

• Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programs, recognition initiatives, meetings, and company events.

• Assist with performance management processes and other HR projects.

• Stay informed on labor laws and HR best practices to ensure compliance.

• Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.


Qualifications


✅ Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


✅ 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or an administrative support role


✅ Understanding of full-cycle recruiting processes


✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills


✅ Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities


✅ Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


✅ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and social media platforms


✅ Positive attitude with a hands-on, team-oriented approach


Preferred Qualifications


⭐ Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)


⭐ HRCI and/or SHRM certification


⭐ Previous HR experience in a manufacturing environment

⭐ Knowledge of the food manufacturing industry


Work Environment


This role is primarily office-based but requires regular interaction with employees on the production floor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment and adhering to all food safety standards and operational procedures.


Additional Position Details


• Pay Rate: $25–$30/hour

• Contract Position – 6 Months to Start

• On-Site Schedule: 5 Days per Week

• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
