Position Summary

This position supports recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR operations at Waterford Senior Living/Memory Care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Recruit, screen, and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and hiring processes with leadership teams.
  • Manage New Hire Checklist to ensure accurate onboarding, training, documentation, and compliance.
  • Ensure timely completion of required state and facility trainings.

Employee Records & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee files (paper and electronic).
  • Manage termination processes using Termination Checklist procedures.
  • Track performance reviews and ensure completion within required timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Training & Development

  • Track continuing education and required certifications.
  • Maintain the Relias training system and monitor course completion.
  • Support department managers with training compliance.

Payroll & Timekeeping Support

  • Manage time record systems and reconcile schedules.
  • Submit payroll information to Executive Director by required deadlines.
  • Support onboarding and payroll setup for new employees.

Employee Relations & Benefits

  • Assist with FMLA, COBRA, Workers’ Compensation, unemployment, and injury reporting.
  • Support workplace injury investigations and return-to-work programs.
  • Manage incentive and recognition programs.

Scheduling & Operational Support

  • Participate in on-call scheduling support when assigned.

Communication & Policy Support

  • Attend staff meetings and document meeting notes.
  • Ensure effective communication of HR policies and changes.


General Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
  • Attend required trainings and meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
