Job description

Pay Range: $18.00- $27.00

Starting at $20/hr

SUMMARY
Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Assists in training, scheduling and inventory control within food court operation to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Oversees staff and ensures that all corporate and state sanitation regulations are adhered to at all times. May assist with cooking large quantities of food which are supplied to the finishing cooks throughout the food court area. Has a formal knowledge of recipes and cooking styles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
Responsible for sampling and suggestive selling.  End each customer transaction with a “Thank Youâ€.  
Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
Assist with overseeing the day-to-day operation of the food court area to include training, scheduling and inventory control.
Assist with preparing and cooking mass levels of food to be provided to finishing cooks according to required food quantities.
Require a thorough knowledge/understanding of recipes and ingredient formulas which supply food court areas.  
Ensure that all associates adhere to all company and state policies and procedures regarding sanitation.
Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Maintain Cold case logs, hot food logs and cooling logs consistent with store policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives. Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills.Basic LiteracyBasic Computer Skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Degree or equivalent. 6-12 months of related experience.
