The role of the Assistant Banquet Manager
BASIC PURPOSE: The Assistant Banquet Manager reports to the Director of Banquets. This position will manage the operation of banquet events and must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful F&B service, demonstrated by the staff. The Assistant Banquet Manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff.
We are looking for individuals who have a thorough knowledge of guest service, cost control, labor control, execution of high end and luxurious events, creative abilities and strong attention to detail.
Applicants are required to have two years previous employment in a related position. A college degree is preferred.
This position does require authorization to work in the United States.
