Job description

Position Title: Banquet Coordinator
Position Summary: The Banquet Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating banquet and special event operations for a casino property with a configurable ballroom and event space. This position supports weddings, meeting, marketing events, entertainment functions, private parties and other property events by coordinating client needs, room configurations, vendors, staffing, supplies, setup, event execution, and tear down. The Banquet Coordinator serves as a key point of contact before, during, and after events to ensure a high-quality guest experience and efficient use or property resources.
In addition to the below key duties and responsibilities, all Wild Rose team members are ambassadors of the Wild Rose brand and culture.

Essential Functions: The essential functions and responsibilities of this position are:
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute banquet and special events held in the ballroom and other designated event areas
  • Work with guests, internal departments, and outside groups to determine event objectives, room layout, timelines, food and beverage needs, entertainment needs, audiovisual requirements, staffing needs, and other event details.
  • Monitor events in progress, respond to guest or vendor needs, resolve issues quickly, and communicate concerns to management when needed.
  • Maintain event files, schedules, floor plans, vendor information, checklists, billing details, and other records related to banquet and event operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule: The schedule for this position is classified as full-time.
Salary: $16.00 / per hour
