Banquet Executive Sous Chef
Join the culinary team at the Confluence Hotel, located in the vibrant and historic downtown Hastings. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Banquet Executive Sous Chef to support our culinary operations and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional passionate about hospitality and culinary excellence to contribute to a renowned hotel in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all banquet kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and execution of banquet events, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with event planners and catering teams to customize menus and accommodate special requests
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to meet budgetary goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies
- Innovate and develop new banquet menu options to enhance guest satisfaction
