Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment. We deliver flight data critical to validating system performance and achieving rapid technology deployment. Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.
We are seeking a dedicated Application Analyst to manage, configure, implement, and support our suite of enterprise, business-critical applications. This role balance hands-on technical administration with business process optimization across our flight operations, business, engineering and production teams. As the primary point of contact, the ideal candidate will handle application configurations, user access, and ongoing support, while leading or supporting new system implementations, system re-implementations, and process migrations. You will be responsible for defining technical requirements, optimizing business processes, and ensuring data governance to align our digital tools with strategic business needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • System Administration & Configuration: Manage user accounts, access permissions, security profiles, license compliance, setting and managing system configurations.
  • Implementations & Change Management: Lead or support the rollout of new software applications and the major re-implementation or restructuring of existing systems to meet evolving business demands.
  • Workflow Optimization & Analysis: Evaluate business processes, gather user requirements, and translate operational needs into technical solutions within the application or migration to alternative solutions.
  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, diagnosing and resolving application errors from daily usage to complex system bugs.
  • System Maintenance & Testing: Coordinate with vendors and partners to plan, test, and implement software updates, patches, and feature enhancement rollouts.
  • Training & Documentation: Create clear user guides, document technical system configurations, and deliver onboarding or continuous training to end-users

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • 6+ years of experience as an Application Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar hybrid technical-functional role.
  • Hands on experience administering and supporting of JIRA and/or CostPoint
  • Proven track record of leading new implementation or re-implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of user provisioning, permission and security profiles.
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred
  • Exposure to Aerospace manufacturing, engineering or maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity of popular project and task management solutions (e.g. Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, Monday.com)
  • Strong understanding of process and data relationships between ERP, MRO, MES, PDM, PLM
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries compliant with security standards (e.g. ITAR, AS9100, ISO27001, NIST, FAR Regulations.
  • Experience administering multiple enterprise on-premises business applications such as:
    • ERP/Finance: Costpoint, Shop Floor Time, ADP
    • MES: Manufacturo, ION, Opcenter, Boltline, QT9, Epsilon3
    • MRO: Veryon, Trax, Ultramain, AMOS
    • PLM/PDM: Teamcenter
    • Collaboration & Tracking: SharePoint, Jira, Jama, Confluence

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors of Science or applicable experience in lieu of degree

  • $100k-$140k
  • Eligible for up to 10% annual bonus
