Job description

Position Description:
Provides senior-level technical, analytical, and project support for Operational Applications that support utility operations, including outage management, metering, generation, monitoring, workload automation, reporting, compliance, and operational data exchange
Essential Job Tasks:
  • Supports Operational Applications used for generation, transmission, distribution, outage restoration, metering, dispatch, monitoring, reporting, and operational readiness.
  • Leads or supports requirements gathering, solution design, testing, documentation, production support, change management, upgrades, patches, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Supports platforms such as OMS, Landis+Gyr Command Center, MV90, EtaPRO, OLS, Kepware, LabWorks, IBM Workload Scheduler, SolarWinds, historian/reporting tools, vendor-supported applications, and internally developed systems.
  • Performs Tier 3 troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for application, interface, data, database, workflow, performance, security, and vendor related issues.
  • Creates and maintains SOPs, troubleshooting guides, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials; provides mentorship and participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Position Requirements:
Senior Applications Analyst
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field + 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Must have experience supporting operational, enterprise, utility-related, vendor-supported, or internally developed applications in a production environment and experience supporting application projects, upgrades, integrations, enhancements, vendor engagements, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and support a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Compensation Information:
$116,650 - $145,800 (min. - mid.)
Applications Analyst III
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field + 5 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Must have experience supporting operational, enterprise, utility-related, vendor-supported, or internally developed applications in a production environment and experience supporting application projects, upgrades, integrations, enhancements, vendor engagements, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and support a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Compensation Information:
$104,620 - $130,770 (min. - mid.)
