ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Agent's Assistant - State Farm Agent Team Member forNatalie Reid - State Farm Agent, your creativity, and strategy promote the continued growth of our agency. This position involves helping the agent provide excellent customer service to meet the insurance needs of the agencys clients and to contact new prospects to set sales appointments for the agent.
While promoting our team, our insurance products/financial services, and the good we offer to our community, you also gain unique insights invaluable to your career growth. As an inventive and sales-minded professional, we are eager to incorporate your skillset into our agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with the agent to help manage the website and social media content.
  • Work with the agent to develop and maintain a digital marketing system to promote the office.
  • Work with the agent to identify and support local community events.
  • Engage with customers over the phone and in person.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Answer and screen all incoming calls to resolve or route customer inquiries regarding products and services to appropriate team members.
  • Calculate premiums, applicable discounts and other payments for products and services.
  • Process payments via cash, check, or card and address Billing inquiries and payment method options.
  • Provide receipts for payments made, mail payments for processing, handle returned checks and online payment plans.
  • Assist customers with confirming policies are accurate and getting accounts internet enabled.
  • Make contact for all Non-Pays Reinstatements (Auto and Fire).
  • Process Auto and Fire Rewrites.
  • Update addresses on all applicable policies as requested.
  • Assist and follow up with customers on DDS Setup (odometer readings) and other DSS service transactions.
  • Attach and submit forms and other documents to underwriters as applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Able to obtain Property and Casualty license
  • Able to obtain and Life and Health license
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Able to make presentations to potential customers
  • Proficient in social media, website, and email content generation
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail-oriented
  • People-oriented
  • Creative in problem-solving and goal achievement
  • Excellent in collaborative communication with team members and customers
  • Able to work cooperatively in a team environment
