Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent Manager to join our AM&S Supply Chain Operations team in Everett, Washington.

The AM&S Supply Chain Operations Team Procurement Agent Manager leads a team responsible PMI & SBM Management (both consuming and providing partners), analyzing supply chain requirements, develop and optimize inventory planning across multiple warehouse sites (both internal and external) and synchronize supply chain demands. The team assures that suppliers are able to support requirements across these warehouses by investigates complex ordering conditions, developing and implementing new ordering methodologies, ensuring organizational compliance with inventory management policies and creating complex schedules. In addition, this role will help to support consuming site, elevating help needed, critical shortages and ensuring on-going production support working directly with the consuming site and providing partner operation teams.

Our team is currently hiring for (Level K) Procurement Agent Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 3+ years of experience in domestic and international supply chain logistics
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high-stakes discussions
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally 25%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 3+ years of experience with Materials Management, Global Field Ops or other related functions
  • Proven ability to execute on commitments
  • Experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results
