Job description

Job Title: SDR Agent Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA., New York, NY., Remote US
Exemption Status: Full-time, Exempt
Who We Are
Impiricus is the first and only AI-powered HCP Engagement Engine. In 2025, Deloitte named Impiricus the #1 fastest growing company in North America for their prestigious Fast 500 list. Founded by a practicing physician and a senior pharmaceutical executive, Impiricus was created to transform how life sciences companies support physicians. We ethically connect HCPs to pharma resources, reduce go-to-market costs and accelerate patient access to the treatments they need.
With our unique access to the largest opted-in network of HCPs, their insights, and clinical expertise, we are the leading provider of AI technology and real-time channels that life science companies need to deliver clear, reliable, and evidence-based resources directly into the hands of HCPs. Guided by a council of 2000+ trusted HCP advisors, we ensure every interaction is clinically meaningful, ethically grounded and leads to better patient care.
Job Summary:
Impiricus is looking for an SDR Agent Manager to help redefine how outbound sales is executed through AI.
Rather than managing a team of human SDRs, you'll manage and optimize a team of AI-powered SDR agents. You'll partner closely with our AI and Commercial teams to continuously improve agent performance, refine messaging, analyze results, and increase meeting conversion rates. Alongside managing AI agents, you'll also execute strategic manual outbound outreach where automation isn't possible, making this a unique blend of traditional SDR work and AI operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing SDR who is excited about AI and wants to help shape the future of outbound sales.
Responsibilities
AI Agent Management & Optimization (60-75%)
  • Manage and continuously optimize a team of AI SDR agents responsible for outbound prospecting.
  • Review agent performance and analyze outreach effectiveness, including email messaging, subject lines, response rates, and meeting conversion.
  • Train AI agents by reinforcing successful outreach patterns and refining prompts and workflows based on performance data.
  • Partner closely with AI and engineering teams to improve agent behavior and outbound effectiveness.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve meeting generation and pipeline creation.

Sales Development
  • Execute personalized outbound prospecting through LinkedIn and other channels where manual outreach is required.
  • Build prospect lists and execute multi-touch outbound campaigns using modern sequencing platforms.
  • Craft compelling outreach messaging that resonates with healthcare and pharmaceutical decision-makers.
  • Meet and exceed meeting generation goals through both AI-generated and manual outreach efforts.

Continuous Improvement
  • Experiment with new outbound strategies, messaging, and AI workflows.
  • Provide constructive feedback on existing processes and recommend improvements.
  • Help shape the future evolution of Impiricus' AI-powered sales organization.

Education & Experience
Required
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound prospecting.
  • Proven success generating qualified meetings through outbound sales.
  • Experience using sales engagement platforms and sequencing tools such as Outreach.io, Salesloft, Apollo, HubSpot Sequences, or similar.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude and enthusiasm for leveraging AI to improve workflows.
  • Strong understanding of outbound email strategy, messaging, personalization, and sales best practices.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to evaluate and improve outreach content.
  • Self-starter who works independently, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to travel 1-2 times per quarter

Preferred Qualifications
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences experience.
  • Experience working with HubSpot CRM.
  • Experience using Clay or similar prospecting and data enrichment tools.
  • Exposure to prompt engineering, AI workflow optimization, or AI agent management.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $85,000-$105,000
Where you land within the range will reflect your skills, experience, and location, while keeping team parity in mind and leaving room for future growth.
Important Notice
To protect candidates, please note that all communication from our team will come directly from an @impiricus.com email address. We do not engage third party recruiters to schedule interviews for this role. If you receive outreach from anyone outside of our domain claiming to represent Impiricus, please disregard and let us know by forwarding the message to careers@impiricus.com
