Job Description – Leasing Agent

We are looking for a prudent leasing agent to maximize asset value and customer satisfaction. The leasing agent will be responsible for leasing of assigned property. Must be very proficient in social media platforms as those are a very important aspect of our marketing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service

• Maintain knowledge of property management software (AppFolio) (Homebase)

• Lease vacant apartments and maintain a high occupancy percentage

• Assist with clerical duties, phone calls, walk-ins, and online leads

• Handle lease renewals of current tenants

• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards

• Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants

• Update unit availability daily

• Additional tasks or duties assigned by community Manager

• Assist with resident events and contests

• Update and collect Renter’s Insurance

Skills

• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software

• Proficient in marketing and social media platforms

• Understanding social media ad analytics and target audiences

• Understanding the smart apartment features and how the technology operates

• Customer focus

• Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills

• Well organized with excellent time management skills

• Familiar with social media platforms

Job Type: Part-time (Mon-Wed-Fri 1pm - 6pm and Sat 10am-3pm)
