Aftercare Associate

Join Our Mission of Forming Missionary Disciples

St. Mary of the Lakes School is seeking caring, responsible, and energetic individuals to join our Aftercare Program for the 2026-2027 school year. Aftercare Associates play an important role in providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students after the school day.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during aftercare hours.
  • Assist with homework support, activities, and recreation.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for all students.
  • Support the Aftercare Supervisor in daily program operations.
  • Follow all school safety and supervision procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Reliable, responsible, and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
  • High school diploma required.
  • College students pursuing education or related fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Commitment to supporting the mission of Catholic education.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal background check
  • Completion of Virtus (Protecting God's Children) training and diocesan safe environment requirements

Schedule

  • Part-time position
  • School days during the academic year
  • Approximately 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
