Administrative Intern

Reports to: Shareholder Services Program Manager Status: Temporary, Full-time, Non-exempt Location: Anchorage, AK

Job Summary: Aleut is recruiting for a summer internship program that will begin in June 2025. Through a 10-week internship, gain professional work experience by applying education in a practical work setting in a focused area of interest.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Embraces the mission, values and strategic goals of Aleut.
  • Provide administrative support to department staff as required.
  • Greet and assist shareholders and visitors.
  • Answers phones and directs calls to appropriate department.
  • Order program and office supplies as needed.
  • Identify and participate in a goal setting process with direct supervisor to determine learning objectives for the duration of the internship.
  • Observe and assist with department programs, services, research, and other tasks.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as appropriate to acquire knowledge and skills within the department.
  • Organize and assist in implementing strategies for special projects.
  • Complete a learning summary presentation to be presented to Aleut management upon completion of internship.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Highschool Diploma or GED.
  • Enrolled in a continuing education program, such as a degree, vocational or certification program.
  • Aleut Corporation Shareholder and/or descendent.
