Job description

As a nationally accredited program with a strong educationalcomponent in The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, the Office of theMedical Investigator (OMI) investigates any death occurring across the state ofNew Mexico that is sudden, violent, untimely, unexpected or where a person isfound dead and the cause of death is unknown. The OMI, which is a specialprogram within the Department of Pathology, determines the cause and manner ofdeath in these cases, and provides formal death certification.

OMI is currently looking for an Accounting Assistant to joinour team. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented and great with followthrough. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic. The position alsorequires data entry and a high degree of attention to detail. Our candidatewill be able to deal with graphic sights and intense smell.
