About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting professional to join our team in Aztec, NM. This is a great opportunity to bring your financial expertise to a dynamic company where your work makes a real impact. Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable 
  • Enters all incoming invoices for payment
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage50 or Quickbooks)
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
