ABOUT THE TEAM

We are seeking a dynamic AV Technician to join our AV Systems team, ensuring seamless AV operations and exceptional end-user support. This role requires on-site presence at the Anduril Industries Costa Mesa, CA office with travel to other locations for AV deployments, events, and support.

As an AV Technician, you'll be the backbone of our audiovisual infrastructure, delivering critical technical support across our campus. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge AV technology, supporting everything from daily conference room needs to high-stakes executive presentations and live streaming productions. This role combines technical expertise with customer service excellence, requiring someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in solving complex technical challenges.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 
  • Provide rapid response technical support for AV issues across large event spaces and conference rooms.
  • Maintain and support AV infrastructure, including hands-on assistance during major company events.
  • Manage campus-wide AV equipment inventory and supply chain logistics.
  • Execute setup and teardown of AV equipment for events, prepare new equipment deployments, and coordinate equipment transport.
  • Resolve user issues through Jira ticketing system, walk-up requests, and deskside support.
  • Conduct proactive testing and system checks to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
  • Deliver white-glove support for high-profile executive and government visitor presentations.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and optimize AV systems for end users.
  • Own podcast production and live streaming operations when required.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to vendors or specialized teams as appropriate.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure continuous AV support coverage.
  • Travel up to 25% for office buildouts and off-site AV requirements.
  • Provide IT support to users as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Minimum 2 years of professional Audio Visual experience.
  • Self-motivated with a customer-first mindset and strong collaboration abilities.
  • Proven ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations with executive staff and government officials.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and quickly adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Physical capability to perform hands-on work and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Track record of delivering excellent customer support and resolving daily AV challenges.
  • Strong technical communication skills with ability to serve as first point of contact for information gathering.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • IT experience and technical support background.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AV systems and control platforms (Crestron, Q-SYS, etc.).
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience supporting government or defense sector clients.
