About the role

The Operations Analyst is a data analyst that supports Operations and the Operations Excellence teams.  The Operations Analyst will provide insight and visibility into operational performance and data needed to advance strategic decision making in support of a rapid growth organization.  Areas of expertise will include identifying performance opportunities, support for process design/redesign efforts and an expectation of providing innovative solutions and recommendations to support Quantum Health’s strategic initiatives. The role will require an intimate understanding of Quantum Health’s operational model and collaboration with all levels of leadership within Operations as a data partner. 
Location: This position is located at our Dublin, OH campus with hybrid flexibility. 

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

Analytics, Models and Tools

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and organize operational data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data repositories.
  • Use statistical techniques such as STATA, Python, SPSS, R, SAS on large datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights.

Business Insights

  • Prepare, analyze and summarize operational results for use by key stakeholders by creating reports, specifications, instructions and/or flowcharts.
  • Analyze and synthesize data findings into key insights and summary recommendations for improvement opportunities for operations partners.

Data Partnership and Collaboration

  • Provide technical assistance and support among operations partners about the effective use of data.
  • Work closely with operations program and people leaders as a data partner to promote data-driven problem-solving and solutions to improve business performance.
  • Analyze impact of continuous improvement initiatives pre- and post-implementation in support of Operations Excellence team.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

  • Education: Degree or combination of education and experience (degree in Business, Data Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, Information Management Systems, or Mathematics preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years in healthcare or employer benefits preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Technical and data manipulation experience with Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, FILTER).
  • Proficient with SQL or similar relational databases.
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, AWS Quick Sight) is required.
  • Experience in writing Python program to process data.
  • Exhibit strong analytics, technical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to understand and manipulate data into usable, actionable information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and organized.
  • Project management, organizational skills with attention to detail and timelines.
  • Possesses aptitude for learning new technologies / reporting tools/software.
