Analyst, Brokerage Operations

The Role

This function specifically focuses on analyzing and processing transfer of assets delivery requests of mutual fund and brokerage accounts for several lines of business including Retail, Correspondent and Advisor customers. Within this role you will interact with many different groups in Fidelity and throughout the Financial Services industry.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and maintaining minimum productivity level requirements

  • Handling written inquiries from internal business partners, correspondent firms and other financial services companies

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Financial Services Operations experience

  • Series 7 License required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of brokerage operations experience required

  • You possess strong analytical skills and are detail oriented

  • You can manage your time effectively and independently within a dynamic team while meeting high performance standards

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external business partners

The Team

As a Money and Assets Movement Representative, you will be responsible for analyzing Transfer Initiation Forms and initiating delivery transfers of a wide variety of asset types, including money, stocks, bonds and mutual funds. You will use multiple channels to deliver these assets, which include the Automated Customer Account Transfer System (ACATS) and the Depository Trust Company (DTC), among others. Some transactions will require you to interact and coordinate with our internal business partners as well as counterparts across the Financial Services industry.

The Transfer of Assets Deliveries department handles transfer out requests and written inquiries regarding these requests for all internal lines of businesses to ensure transactions are completed in a timely manner. The department focuses on delivering quality in every interaction with the end goal of helping our clients meet their financial needs.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
