The Role
Our Digital Solutions Project Managers serve an integral role in implementing and maintaining customized websites for our strategic and large clients with their strong communication, creative problem solving, and project management expertise that craft our client experience. In this role, you will help drive digital solutions from concept to reality working directly with our clients, technology teams, communicators, and business partners.
You will contribute at all stages of a project's lifecycle from conception through release. This includes developing and maintaining project plans and leading team and client meetings to define detailed requirements, craft the site's design and user experience, review website functionality (QA), coordinate internal and client testing, and manage technology requirements such as single sign on and security scans.
You will be aligned to a team of Digital Solutions consultants. You will partner with your team on executing custom client projects and new product development. You will also be integral in managing the team's overall capacity, project roadmap and financials.
In addition to the general responsibilities of project management, you will be encouraged to engage in strategy conversations, learn about compensation and benefit programs, and help build/maintain standard methodologies for effective project management across the Digital Solutions Team. Our project managers often need to blend Agile principles with the project management style and concepts practiced by our clients.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum of 7 years of experience as a project manager delivering digital solutions (website development, digital communications, etc.)
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint / Teams, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience developing and managing timelines and budgets across multiple business units
  • Contracting and budgeting experience beneficial
  • Effective problem-solving skills that can be applied to developing digital communications strategies and managing websites with a shifting technical landscape and client priorities
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and coordinate with clients and business partners to develop and implement effective and creative digital solutions
  • Ability to prioritize, lead and keep large internal/external meetings on track
  • Ability to simplify and present technical, sophisticated concepts to non-technical business partners
  • Shown expertise at implementing and managing processes to drive team efficiency and quality of execution
  • Familiarity with online Content Management Systems (CMS) software/platforms (a plus)
  • Experience with Equity (a plus)
  • Experience/curiosity about the employer benefits industry, including retirement plans, health plans and work/life programs (a plus)

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$180,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
