The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic business partner support and financial management to drive improved outcomes and financial results for the broader organization. You will work closely with business partners throughout Fidelity Real Estate and develop a deep understanding of corporate real estate and the capital projects we are responsible for.

TheExpertiseWe're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 7 years of professional experience in Finance
  • Professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial planning and analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint) with experience in Anaplan, TBM, NGAV/Power BI
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with Finance and business partners at varying levels of the organization
  • Confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including effectively interacting with and influencing senior management
  • Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactively building consultative relationships across Finance and the business
  • Proven ability, flexibility, and resourcefulness to manage several priorities in a deadline-driven environment, having comfort with ambiguity
  • Finding opportunities to streamline work processes and simplify models to make the team more efficient and effective

The Purpose of Your Role and the Value You Deliver

  • Develop financial analysis and reporting of business unit expenses and capital expenditures including recurring monthly reporting and analysis as well as month-end close processing and variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and related business commentary
  • Partner with the Real Estate functions on supporting the regions
  • Use data visualization tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, management reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business
  • Collaborate with others to assist in special projects by developing financial modeling
  • Support ongoing and ad-hoc analysis to develop strategic real estate recommendations
  • Proactive partnership and communication with business and Finance partners
  • Evaluate and improve existing data gathering tools and spreadsheets

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
