Job description

Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as the main point of contact between operations, customers, and IT for all WMS-related needs.
  • Provide Level 1 WMS support: analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues; escalate to IT Support when needed.
  • Configure the WMS to support operational workflows and business requirements.
  • Document system issues, steps to recreate problems, and communicate change requests clearly.
  • Support system testing, validation, and go-live activities for new implementations and upgrades.
  • Assist in training new hires and provide ongoing WMS training to warehouse teams.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and training materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement projects to optimize WMS performance.
  • Ensure adherence to WMS best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain working knowledge of IT hardware such as RF devices, vehicle mounts, printers, and workstations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the WMS and daily operations.
  • Ability to work on-site in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25-35
  • Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods during configuration and support tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Skills & Abilities
  • 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, IT systems support, or related fields (internships welcome).
  • Basic understanding of warehouse processes (receiving, picking, packing, shipping).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to grow into an advanced SME role.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred (but not required).

Certification & Licenses
  • Any WMS-specific training or certification (Softeon, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Körber, etc., if available)
