About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Systems Operations Analyst to oversee live online exam sessions through the Verity Live Dashboard across the campuses we serve. This role sits at the intersection of academic integrity, real-time operations, and technical quality assurance, supporting both live exam monitoring and required administrative and testing tasks.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in dynamic live environments, documenting complex events, and shifting between operational responsibilities and project-based work as priorities evolve, while contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Verity Live Dashboard.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee live virtual proctoring sessions, monitoring student activity in real time across assigned campuses.
  • Flag, document, and escalate suspicious or noteworthy testing events with thorough and objective written notes.
  • Respond to test-taker questions and issues as they arise during live sessions.
  • Review exam submissions post-session and add detailed documentation related to integrity or technical concerns.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive records to support academic review and internal investigations.
  • Perform administrative and operational duties during periods of low live activity, including:
    • Executing basic and advanced test cases
    • Participating in system validation and security reviews
    • Assisting with internal process improvements
  • Work closely with engineering and technical teams on a variety of short- and long-term projects that may shift frequently based on business needs.
  • Review incoming Jira tickets from support staff, reproduce reported issues, and create well-documented bug tickets for inclusion in appropriate sprints.
  • Serve as a bridge between live operations, support, and engineering by providing clear, actionable feedback grounded in real-world use cases.
  • Perform on-demand projects and special assignments of varying scope and complexity, with responsibilities adjusted periodically to support changing operational requirements, seasonal workloads, and company priorities.

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, objective, and comprehensive written documentation.
  • Comfort working in live, time-sensitive environments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and adapt to frequently changing project assignments.
  • Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as Jira (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to reproduce technical issues and communicate findings effectively.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive academic integrity matters.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment where responsibilities may vary significantly over time, and is comfortable contributing to new projects and initiatives as organizational needs evolve.
  • Flexible in being able to work different rotational shifts that include mornings, nights, and weekends.
