We are looking for a data-driven Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with industry knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our damage mitigation programs.
Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams with competitive pricing, in-depth performance analysis, and data-driven insights
  • Perform costing analysis and develop multi-scenario pricing options to support customer negotiations
  • Assist in building and evaluating pricing strategies; analyze volume, profit potential, and market trends
  • Monitor customer performance across volume, revenue, and margin; identify gaps and inconsistencies
  • Respond to pricing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from internal operational databases
  • Build custom reports and analytics dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools; present findings to leadership
  • Ensure accurate, clean reporting flows directly to leadership and upper management
  • Organize and maintain internal and external databases to support decision-making
  • Generate monthly and quarterly damage analysis reports and performance summaries for senior management
  • Conduct thorough investigations of equipment damage incidents — tractors, trailers, and cargo handling equipment
  • Analyze damage patterns and root causes; prepare detailed reports with photographic documentation and cost assessments
  • Review and process damage claims from initial report through full resolution
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, repair vendors, and legal teams on complex claims
  • Negotiate settlements and manage vendor relationships for cost-effective repairs
  • Maintain accurate claims databases and tracking systems
  • Identify high-risk routes, facilities, and operational scenarios through trend analysis
  • Develop and maintain SOPs to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
  • Create and implement driver training programs focused on damage prevention
  • Work with safety teams to establish best practices; conduct cost-benefit analyses for prevention initiatives
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or insurance industries is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills is preferred.
  • Experience with claims management systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and equipment types.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
