The Corporate Lending Operations team is comprised of over 70 experienced individuals across multiple groups who are dedicated to the following:

  • Bi-lat Loan Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for Bi-lateral and Participant deals.
  • TDBNA Loan Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for Bi-lateral and Participant deals for TDBNA clients in US.
  • Agency Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for TD Agented deals
  • Loan Sales & Trading provides support in the settlement of loan trades.
  • Business Support Team providing support on operational & financial controls, compliance oversight, Internal/ External audit, system operations support; consisting of CAIRO Administration involved in processing and distribution of authorized corporate credits housed in the CAIRO credit origination system and the approval databaseLoan Administration and Loan Documents Team responsible for managing

Job Accountabilities

  • Responsible to achieve operational objectives related Loan Documents management and accounting investigation within the team, maintain effective day-to-day operations and deliver quality service
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the operating environment, business processes and procedures, and transaction lifecycle for Corporate Credit lending products and as applicable across line of business
  • Act as first point of escalation for investigate processes/exceptions arising from processes beyond first level operations service delivery. Apply knowledge of systems, processes and regulations in resolving escalated customer issues and ensure communication with key stakeholders
  • Actively seeks opportunities to increase efficiencies, reduce errors, or minimize risk and develops alternatives, recommendations, and/or implements solutions.
  • Continuously review and/or update processes/procedures ensuring all functions and systems are well documented and in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements; recommend, implement, and monitor the achievement of process enhancements
  • Responsible to review and reconcile monthly or other periodic reporting as required by business group
  • Lead and provide guidance to other team members to ensure operations issues are handled appropriately and participate in the negotiation and resolution (including escalation) of significant internal and/or external partner issues
  • Provide accurate, timely and efficient administration of team level workflows and ensure.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite; adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to operations activities for own area.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Corporate/Commercial Lending Operations Experience preferably with a Financial Institution is required for this role.
  • Very good knowledge of the Windows environment and of the MS Office suite, as well as proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables and database management functions, VBA, power pivots, array functions and others)
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Power apps and Ui path is an asset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, International Business, or other related Discipline.
  • Highly motivated professional, possessing strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to details with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent listening, conflict resolution and mediation skills required.
  • Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment.
  • Have a Clear, professional, and informative communication style (oral and written) in English
