Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for an open receptionist administrative assistant role. The role will provide clerical assistance and administrative support by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties:
• Communicates with congregation verbally and electronically to share critical information.
• Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare bills, statements, receipts, or other documents, copying information from one record to another.
• Answers telephone, conveys messages, and book appointments
• Prints labels and inventory information, compiles route sheets for deliveries.
• Proofread records, and forms
• Sorts and files records.
• Addresses envelopes or packages.
• Stamps mail with automated postal machine.
• Photocopies and faxes documents as necessary.
• Shreds documents as directed by supervisors
• Assists other colleagues as required with shared responsibilities as necessary


Qualifications:
• Associates Degree or series of college courses related to field or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write effective and meaningful correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to speak and spell correctly, in an official setting, with correct grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide any combination of numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a good working knowledge of "Excel", "Word". Ability to type 45 words per minute and quickly operate 10 key calculators.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

• Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
