Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the Modernization of Elevators.
A. Surveys
B. Submittals
C. Scheduling
D. Ordering
2. Manage a team of technicians and ensure they are properly trained and equipped to handle service requests.
3. Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the safe and efficient operation of elevators and escalators.
4. Coordinate with customers to schedule service visits and resolve any issues or concerns.
5. Conduct regular inspections of elevators and escalators to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
6. Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance and safety.
7. Maintain records of service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities.
8. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and equipment.
9. Monitor and manage the budget for elevator maintenance and repairs.
10. Provide technical support and expertise to customers and team members.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and interact with customers.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address service issues and make timely decisions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in computer software and systems used for maintenance tracking and reporting.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and respond to emergency service requests.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
