Elevator Maintenance MechanicLocation: Mineola, NY
We are seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Mineola, NY. The ideal candidate must qualify for New York State amp; New York City Elevator Mechanic Licenses, have proof of four years of elevator industry experience prior to 1/1/2022, CET License, and completion of a four-year state/federally approved apprenticeship program. We can try to assist you in obtaining the licenses but we cannot hire you unless you either already have these two licenses or you qualify to obtain them.
Job Requirements:
- Must qualify for New York State amp; New York City Elevator Mechanic Licenses
- Proof of four years of elevator industry experience prior to 1/1/2022
- CET License
- Completion of a four-year state/federally approved apprenticeship program
- Team-oriented and able to work closely with company owners, supervisors, mechanics, and helpers
- Overtime may be required occasionally
- Willingness to work nights and weekends a BIG plus
- Must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor
- Must be willing to abide by OSHA, NYCDOB, Company, and Industry Safety Standards
- OSHA 30 Certification amp; 40-Hour SST is a must - will pay for classes
- Must have a valid and clean driver's license
- NYCDOB Inspectors License, QEI, CET, or AET a Plus

Our service area is all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester County, Nassau County, Western Suffolk County, and Eastern New Jersey. Company vehicle or vehicle stipend will be provided. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, take pride in their work, and be able to communicate well with their supervisor as well as building personnel such as superintendents and/or tenants.
