Job Summaryย 

The Elevator Purchasingย Operationsย Analystย is responsible forย coordinating theย purchasing requisitions, inventory management, repair and exchange programs, and operational support of elevator parts and components across service, repair, modernization, and installation activities. This role serves as the primary liaison between field operations, vendors, repair facilities, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensureย timelyย parts availability,ย accurateย inventory control, effective project execution, and continuous process improvement.ย 

The position combinesย purchasingย coordination, inventory management, project management, supplier management, and operational support responsibilities while driving efficiency, cost control, and service excellence throughout the organization.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Manage procurement activities for elevator parts, components, boards, drives, and related materials to support field operations, modernization projects, repairs, and maintenance activities.ย 
  • Issue and manage purchase orders,ย monitorย supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and ensureย timelyย delivery of materials and services.ย 
  • Support technicians, supervisors, and project teams by sourcing parts, researching part numbers,ย identifyingย alternatives, and resolving material shortages.ย 
  • Coordinate and oversee board and drive repair and exchange programs, including inventory management, repair tracking, replenishment, workflow prioritization, and stakeholder communication.ย 
  • Maintainย accurateย inventory records, asset tracking, and inventory databases within ERP, Salesforce, and other business systems.ย 
  • Monitor inventory levels, usage trends, and demand forecasts toย optimizeย stock levels and minimize operational downtime.ย 
  • Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.ย 
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, material verification, returns, warranty claims, repair shipments, and vendorย returns.ย 
  • Collaborate with field operations, service teams, modernization teams, warehouse personnel, vendors, and leadership to support project execution and operational requirements.ย 
  • Track and communicate parts availability, order status, repair progress, and delivery schedules to stakeholders.ย 
  • Support project planning and execution by coordinating material requirements, tracking procurement milestones, and resolving supply chain issues.ย 
  • Analyze purchasing, inventory, supplier, and operational performance data and prepare reports, recommendations, and improvement initiatives.ย 
  • Develop andย maintainย standard operating procedures, documentation, and process improvements related toย purchasing, inventory control, repair operations, and parts management.ย 
  • Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and inventory transactions.ย 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and inventory control procedures.ย 
  • Stay current on elevator industry products, technologies, manufacturer updates, and supply chain trends.ย 

Required Qualificationsย 

  • Associate'sย orย Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, orย a relatedย field preferred.ย 
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, operations, project coordination, or related functions.ย 
  • Experience in the elevator industry or a related mechanical, electrical, construction, or industrial environment preferred.ย 
  • Knowledge of elevator components, boards, drives, and repair processes preferred.ย 
  • Experience with ERP systems, Salesforce, inventory management systems, or similar business platforms.ย 
  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.ย 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.ย 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.ย 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.ย 
  • Reporting and data analysis skills.ย 
  • Experience with process improvement and change management initiatives.ย 

Working Conditionsย 

  • Primarily office-based with regular interaction in warehouse, inventory, and repair environments. Working hours are 8 am to 5 pm.ย Location: East Point, GAย 
  • Occasional lifting of materials or components up toย 75ย pounds.ย 
  • Periodic walking, standing, bending, and inventory inspection activities.ย 
  • Occasional travel to company locations, suppliers, or operational facilities asย required.ย 
  • Regular and reliable attendance during standard business hours.ย
