Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Auditor at Lee, Sperling, Hisamune Accountancy Corporation in Glendale, CA. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for leading and conducting full-cycle audits in both non-profits and commercial sectors, preparing financial statements, identifying and assessing risks and internal control weaknesses, and providing recommendations for improvement. The Senior Auditor will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring and guiding lower-level audit staff.
Qualifications
- Audit and financial statement preparation experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of auditing standards, practices, and methods
- Solid backbone on US GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- CPA certification and 3+ years in public accounting preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
