Our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives our success, and we are currently seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Total Quality Management efforts.

Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role in driving improvement initiatives by leading and managing Total Quality Management processes. This position is responsible for identifying and resolving product quality issues, developing quality procedures, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in Non-destructive Testing (NDT), and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Total Quality Management process, including identification and resolution of product quality issues.
• Develop and implement quality procedures and programs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality training for employees and communicate the results of quality efforts to the plant team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine root cause and implement effective corrective actions for quality issues.
• Perform inspections on supplier prototypes and production samples to ensure compliance with engineering and quality requirements.
• Manage internal audit systems and ensure improvements are sustained through regular audits.
• Maintain quality-related databases and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage the gauge calibration system to ensure accuracy of measuring devices.
• Develop and maintain monthly quality reports with trend analysis for management.
• Monitor compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Represent the company in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a related field.
• Familiarity with lean and statistical quality tools.
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret standard measurements and read technical data and blueprints.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and quality management systems.
• Willingness to travel and manage travel expenses.

Preferred Qualifications:

• American Welding Society Certified Weld Inspector credentials.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CMQOE, CQE, or CQA).
• Five years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
• SNT-TC-1A VT Level II, MT Level II, and UT Level II certifications.
• NACE Level 1 or 2 certification.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts: Work is performed in a factory setting, with exposure to various hazards such as noise, fumes, and chemicals. The position may require long hours to support operations, and physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds, may be necessary.
