Our rapidly growing company has grown from a single location in 2015 to extensive operations spanning nearly 90 dermatology clinics across 13 states and counting including Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Wyoming with plans to triple our footprint over the next 4-5 years.

What we are looking for:


An experienced and self-motivated Corporate Controller who will be an instrumental part of our organization and critical to our continued growth and overall success. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of accountants and directing all accounting functions for multiple business entities. In addition, this role is responsible for designing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure the company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies.


What you’ll do:


  • Direct and oversee the overall accounting function for GL, AP, Real Estate, Tax, and Treasury including month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with other senior leadership.

  • Partner effectively with other accounting/finance team members and non-accounting functions to drive improved controls and process enhancements.

  • Optimize and automate accounting processes to drive a faster monthly/quarterly close cycle.

  • Maintain financial records, with detailed support and analysis for all accounts, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles including proper revenue recognition.

  • Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.

  • Enable increased level of employee job satisfaction and employee engagement through leadership, coaching and development of the team.

  • Direct and manage all aspects of the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews, including serving as the primary contact for the external auditors, the preparation of all requested information, and the overall timeline of the audit activities.

  • Play an integral part in acquisition integration as the company continues to grow.

  • Develop monthly financial reporting, presentations, and dashboards to drive decision-making.

  • Prepare/assist with presentations to the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and Lenders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:


  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current and upcoming accounting principles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, CPA strongly preferred.

  • At least 10 years progressively responsible accounting experience with at least 5 years supervisory experience. Healthcare experience is a plus.

  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Adaptive Insights preferred.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements:


Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
