We are passionate about what we do and seek highly skilled professionals to join our team. We are seeking a self-motivated and innovative product manager to join our growing company and help us continue to push the envelope with our products. As a product development engineer on our dynamic and driven team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering new products by conducting market research, creating product timeframes and plans, and working with marketing, sales, operations, and support to onboard new products and features.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Handles escalations from Tier 2 support and delegates tasks to Tier 2
Works with Tier 1 and Tier 2 to resolve customer issues
Works directly with customers and field technicians on issues and projects on the phone, in person or via email
Works closely with Sales Engineering and Project Managers to vet upcoming installs
Trains Field Techs on equipment with which they are unfamiliar
Works with management on special projects (investigates new hardware and software, large installation rollouts, etc.)
Configures switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, wireless access points, gateways, and other networking equipment
Handles calls and escalations after hours and weekends as part of an on-call rotation
Reviews hotel brand specifications and implements specs to equipment in the field
Reports any issues/problems to L3 Manager immediately
Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following equipment and network protocols:
TCP/IP, including network subnets, DHCP, and basic routing
Understanding of VLANs
Wi-Fi networks using 802.11x protocols
Routers – Cisco, etc.
Switches – Aruba, CMX and Cisco/Meraki, etc
Wireless Access Points, Ruckus, Motorola, Cisco, Aruba, etc.
Wireless controllers – Ruckus, Motorola, Cisco, Aruba, etc.
Gateways – Nomadix, Aruba, Mikrotik, Solution IP etc.
Experience in MS Windows Environment – Networking, Updates, Active Directory
Detail-oriented and willing to maintain accurate documentation.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work under pressure
Team oriented
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
Ability to configure and lead an install team remotely from SNA office
