Job Title: Customer Technical Support – Sr. Estimator

As a Customer Technical Support – Sr. Estimator, you will support the Customer Experience and Sales teams. In this role you will develop tools and processes to support the enterprise in creating proposals for custom solutions. In this role you will get to:
  • Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications
  • Review data and determine type of materials or equipment requirements, utilizing knowledge of products to be manufactured, services to be performed, or type of structure to be built by reading riser diagrams, blueprints, and one-lines
  • Develop, maintain and enhance tools to aid in custom solution estimating
  • Work across internal processes to maintain up-to-date information required for estimating
  • Work directly with Customer Experience team members to resolve customer inquiries
  • Collect and analyze escalation request data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience within academic, military, or corporate business environment
  • Strong ability to read and understand electrical power and control drawings / diagrams
  • Strong ability to read and understand mechanical and HVAC drawings / diagrams
  • Ability to use digital tools to capture and respond to customer requests
  • Experience in Sales/Cost Estimating role a plus

Additional Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree or Level 3 Technical/Vocational (i.e., Master Electrician)
  • Customer Service or Sales Support experience
  • Highly motivated, passionate, with exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High comfort level establishing and growing relationships with customers, partners and internally
  • Strong ability to effectively learn technical products, services and solutions and readily apply new knowledge is required
  • Continuous improvement mindset
