Job Description

TechConnect is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer for an industry leading client based in Tulsa, OK. Our client is looking for an individual with experience managing ServiceNow systems to include permissions, upgrades, troubleshooting, reporting, optimization, project coordination and deployment.

As the ServiceNow Administrator/Developer you will strive to improve business processes, manage continuous improvement projects, analyze the environment and always look for opportunities to automate. You will coordinate upgrades, maintain instance performance, coordinate changes to the instance, perform regular checkups, and manage permissions/access such as roles, users and groups. You will troubleshoot day-to-day operations and system issues, work with the ServiceNow support team to resolve issues, deploy update sets from non-production environments, set up and schedule reports, configure notifications and alerts. You will ensure CMDB health, manage data templates, guide business users with the tool, and collaborate with PM’s and business leaders to implement ITIL best practices.

Qualifications/Requirements/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or a minimum 2-3 years of job-related experience.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow configuration, administration and usage.
  • Experience in ServiceNow ITSM processes and workflows.
  • Ability to investigate system issues, recommend permanent solutions and workarounds.
  • Hands-on development, management and deployment experience w/ServiceNow.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML and web services REST API, SOAP.
  • Proficient in ITIL and ServiceNow delivery best practices.
  • Preferred: ServiceNow – Certified System Administrator Certification.
  • Preferred: ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM Certification.
  • Preferred: ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent relationship building skills to excel with all levels of personnel.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • High integrity and moral standards.

Work Location & Travel

  • Work will be performed onsite at the companies Tulsa, Oklahoma facility.
  • Minimal, if any.
