As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Game Planner/Designer Operations Coordinator to join our operations team. We have global offices including Los Angeles, London, Taipei, Seoul, and Tokyo.

Position Overview:
As a Game Planner/Designer, you first and foremost need to be a master of HOW to make a game or level FUN, interesting, compelling, and something a player would want to play and continue playing. You can even take on more Creative Director roles where its their responsibility to impart the games vision to other team members so that there is consistency and quality across all parts of the game.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay systems that achieve a fulfilling flow state, addictive game loops, and a risk/reward balance.
• Developing the storyline, character back-stories, and dialogue, through scripts and storyboards, including any relevant research.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups) that details the triggers, interactions, and subsequent events of specific features or aspects of gameplay.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, milestone schedules, and sprint plans to ensure timely delivery of key project milestones and deliverables.
• Work closely with User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Designers to optimize the player interface.

Work closely with the game design team to conceptualize and develop game ideas, themes, and narratives that resonate with our target audience.

Support additional projects/initiatives within Operations team as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in game design, production, or project management within the video game industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and industry trends.
• Possess a great understanding of game levels, level layouts, drawing maps, architecture, and other design areas related to game level design.
• Basic understanding of 3D art, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and other areas of 3D art creation, use, and conversion
• Basic to advanced knowledge of user interface (UI/UX) in games
• Familiar with Game Engine (Unity 3D, Unreal Engine or another)

Demonstrated success in coordinating gaming-related events, launches, or marketing campaigns.
Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and industry trends.




Bilingual ability in Chinese and English is required;
