Title: Senior Product Manager - Product Operations Manager

Department: Product Development

Reports to: Head of Product

Job Overview:

The Product Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the seamless operation and success of our fintech product development efforts. As a key member of the product team, this individual is responsible for the foundational systems and processes that enable efficient product development, from initial roadmap planning through to delivery and post-launch support. The Product Operations Manager ensures that the product team operates effectively, meets its strategic objectives, and delivers exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) Management: Oversee and optimize the PDLC to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in product development efforts. Implement and refine processes to manage the flow from idea generation to product launch and iteration.
  • Roadmap Coordination: Collaborate with the Head of Product and other stakeholders to develop and maintain a clear and achievable product roadmap. Ensure alignment of the roadmap with overall business goals and market needs.
  • Issue and Client Intake: Establish and manage systems for handling client feedback and product issues, ensuring rapid response times and effective resolution strategies. Serve as a liaison between clients, product management, and technical teams.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget for product development, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet product goals. Monitor expenditures and make adjustments as necessary to align with strategic priorities.
  • Support and Enablement for Product Managers: Provide support and resources to product managers to enable them to achieve their product objectives. Develop training programs and tools to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering, sales, and customer service, to ensure product strategy is integrated smoothly across the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in product management or operations, preferably in a fintech environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
