Job description

Global Product Manager

The Global Product Manager is the strategic and commercial owner of one of the most critical product portfolios. You'll sit at the intersection of market intelligence, engineering, and commercial execution — translating customer needs and industry trends into a winning global product roadmap. This is a high-visibility role that demands both technical credibility and business acumen, with significant opportunity to shape the direction of the product portfolio across automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial markets worldwide.

Location: Denver, CO

Schedule: On Site position, 10-15% travel

Job Description:

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in the automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial markets, including industry indices, emerging trends, and competitive activity
  • Actively participate in industry organizations and engage directly with key end-customers to capture Voice-of-Customer (VOC) insights
  • Serve as the internal champion and external face of the Micro-V Belt product line

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Translate market, customer, and regional needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and application-driven requirements
  • Build and manage compelling business cases for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring alignment on feature, quality, cost, and timeline objectives
  • Lead the full NPI commercialization process: launch materials, product specs, go-to-market strategy, and sales training

Commercial & Financial Ownership

  • Support regional commercial teams with top-line accountability for the product line; define KPIs and align on regional targets
  • Translate corporate long-range financial forecasts (LRFF) into product-level plans across products, processes, and regions
  • Define outsourcing, intercompany supply, and sourcing strategies across regions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Regional Product Line Managers (RPLMs) to align on portfolio priorities, pipeline development, and supply chain needs
  • Provide insight into manufacturing capabilities, capacity requirements, and operational footprint to support market growth
  • Drive alignment and influence outcomes across multiple functions and geographies — without direct authority

What Makes You a Fit

  • Influential leader: You know how to bring people along, build global partnerships, and drive decisions in a matrixed environment
  • Commercially savvy technologist: You can credibly engage with engineers and customers, and connect product decisions to business outcomes
  • Strategic operator: You think long-term but execute with urgency; you're comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at driving change
  • Global mindset: You've worked across regions or cultures and know how to navigate the nuance that comes with it

Qualifications Seeking (Not Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or Marketing (accredited institution required)
  • 5+ years of experience across marketing, outside sales, application engineering, product management, or business development
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, trend modeling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in automotive applications, power transmission systems, or related product engineering
  • Global product management or cross-regional commercial experience
