Position Description
Department: Children & Youth Finance Team
Summary of Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, this person is responsible for tasks and functions associated with financial management and accounting within the assigned area. This person provides support in the following areas including (but not limited to) accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, and management of the General Ledger accounts. This person assists with reporting needs and ensures that all practices and procedures align with current local, state, and federal guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Manage & Ensure Accuracy of Accounts.
Process and review accounts payable and ensure invoices are accurate and submitted timely. As needed, communicate with providers to address issues.
Payroll Assistance.
Assist with payroll processing and calculate payroll adjustments as needed.
Reporting & File Management.
Assist with the creation of and as needed create reports at defined intervals during the year to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines. Gather and distribute supplemental information as needed.
Budget Review, Development, & Documentation.
Review developed budgets for accuracy and within the assigned program area. Ensure required paperwork is complete and accurate. Ensure compliance with all local and state requirements relating to invoicing and billing.

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalency, Associate Degree Preferred, experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), and Dynamics. One year experience in record keeping, fiscal records, and/or financial management including a demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices. Any combination of relevant experience and training considered.
Employment Requirements:
Automobile and Valid Insurance, Valid Driver's License and Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check, Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Social Security Card, Immigration and Naturalization (I-9), Drug Screening Clearance.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods working on a computer, comfortable communicating through virtual technology, and occasional travel (day) may be required for meetings. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
