1st shift - Fabricator, $25-30/hr - Redford, MI

Workbox Staffing is hiring CNC Operators in Westland, MI. The right candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and production standards are met as they relate to producing material handling equipment, automotive wiring, and specialty fabrication projects.

As the metal fabricator, your job duties include reading blueprints and using complex equipment and hand tools to cut, weld, and create metal objects.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the work area’s cleanliness and organization.
Responsible for ensuring specified quality verifications are conducted.
Responsible for ensuring that Work Instructions are followed and quality parts are produced.
Interprets product specifications, prints, control plans, work instructions, process maps, and production schedules with assistance as necessary.
Receive and inspect production materials, perform in-process inspections as required by Work Instructions.
Responsible for filling out the required paperwork.
Use hand tools to cut, weld, and create metal objects.
Other duties as assigned
