Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Tarragon Property Services in Sumner, WA is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a full-time Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Ability to use a personal computer and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as other computer tracking systems
• Ability to use standard maintenance equipment
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance
• Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations, including the use of a back brace, safety harness, safety goggles, and gloves when appropriate
• Reachable via phone, text, or email, except during approved time off
• Ability to travel locally
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds

3+ years of experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade is preferred.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THIS ROLE?

As an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing various property maintenance issues. You will use your expertise in areas such as HVAC, fire alarm panels, electrical, plumbing, building exteriors, and roofs to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our properties. From troubleshooting HVAC systems and programming thermostats to unclogging toilets and fixing leaks, your ability to diagnose and resolve problems will be essential.

In addition to performing repairs, you will also be responsible for following property preventative maintenance schedules and making recommendations for updates as needed. Promptly addressing work order requests from our commercial team and conducting regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness and identify any maintenance-related issues will also be part of your responsibilities.
