PROPERTY MAINTENANCE MANAGER: YOUR ROLE
You take ownership of daily maintenance operations by prioritizing work orders, guiding emergency response efforts, and ensuring preventative maintenance plans stay on track to keep properties safe and inspection ready. You lead the Assistant Maintenance Manager and maintenance staff by assigning responsibilities, managing schedules and on-call rotations, and holding the team accountable to performance expectations. Throughout the day, you stay focused on compliance, coordinating inspections, overseeing repairs and capital improvements, and ensuring every property meets HUD/NSPIRE standards while preserving the long-term value of Authority assets.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance operations
  • Supervisory experience, preferably in multi-unit residential or public housing environments
  • Ability to manage 5 properties throughout Geauga County, As well as, we also inspect units for the HCV Program through Geauga County.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with HUD/public housing programs, including familiarity with inspections such as REAC/NSPIRE and related compliance standards
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or EPA certification)
  • Prior experience managing budgets, capital projects, or contractor oversight in a multi-unit setting

THE SCHEDULE YOU'LL HAVE:
You will work a dependable Monday through Friday schedule from 7am-4pm, with an on-call rotation that ensures flexibility while maintaining consistency in your workweek.
You will manage maintenance over 5 properties throughout Geauga County: Chardon, Middlefield, Newbury, and Chagrin Falls. We also inspect units for the HCV Program in Geauga County.
