Job Description
Description:

Self-Storage Property Manager

Looking for a steady Monday-Friday role where youโ€™re not stuck behind a desk all day?

SpareBox Storage is looking for a Property Manager who likes staying active, working independently, solving practical problems, and keeping properties clean, safe, and running the way they should.

This is not the old-school storage manager job where you sit in an office all day selling boxes and chasing people for money. Our rentals are handled online, through kiosks, and by our call center. That means your day is spent on the property, not tied to a desk.

What makes this role different:

  • Monday-Friday Scheduleโ€ฆNo regular weekend shifts
  • Independent, active workday
  • Time spent outside and across the property, not stuck at a desk
  • No Collection/Delinquent Calls
  • No Merchandise to Sell

In this role, youโ€™ll be responsible for the day-to-day condition and appearance of the properties assigned to you. That includes walking the property, checking doors and locks, inspecting units, addressing minor maintenance needs, picking up trash, reporting larger issues, helping resolve tenant concerns, and making sure the site reflects the standards we expect from SpareBox Storage.

The right person for this job is dependable, practical, and self-motivated. You donโ€™t need someone standing over your shoulder to get things done. You notice when something looks off, and youโ€™re willing to jump in and fix it. You understand that small details matter, whether thatโ€™s a clean drive aisle, a secure unit, a working gate, or a tenant who needs help.

This role is a good fit for someone who:

  • Likes working independently
  • Enjoys being active during the day
  • Takes pride in clean, well-maintained spaces
  • Is comfortable using basic technology
  • Can handle light maintenance and property upkeep
  • Likes variety and does not want to sit in one place all day

What We Provide:

At SpareBox Storage, youโ€™ll have support from our call center, operations team, and company systems, but youโ€™ll also have real ownership over how your properties look and function. When the property looks good, runs well, and tenants have a good experience, your work is a big reason why.

If youโ€™re looking for a practical, steady, hands-on role with independence, structure, and a Monday-Friday schedule, weโ€™d like to talk.

Requirements:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Property maintenance experience is a plus working with facilities such as schools, apartments, self-storage, commercial buildings, etc.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new software systems and web applications
  • Reliable and excellent with time management skills
  • Possess and maintain valid Driversโ€™ License
  • A desire to grow and contribute to a quickly growing organization
  • Self-storage or property management experience is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test
