Job description

We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of an apartment community. The ideal candidate will have strong apartment maintenance experience, leadership skills, and HVAC experience with EPA certification required.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train maintenance staff and coordinate daily workloads.
  • Complete and oversee work orders, preventative maintenance, and apartment make-readies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.
  • Maintain the community grounds, buildings, and amenities to company standards.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and work with vendors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with the Property Manager.

Requirements:

  • Apartment maintenance experience required.
  • Previous maintenance supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general apartment maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
