That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead Wrenfield's property maintenance team and ensure our community is running at its best. Wrenfield is a 300-unit community, where contemporary design, natural beauty, and Madison’s vibrant energy come together.
What You’ll Do
As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll oversee all aspects of property maintenance, while leading a team to deliver excellent service to our residents. Responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and training maintenance staff, delegating work orders, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Performing and overseeing apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ensuring safety compliance, OSHA standards, and adherence to Fair Housing guidelines.
  • Participating in on-call rotation and responding to after-hours emergencies.
  • Partnering with the Property Manager to manage budgets, capital projects, and long-term planning.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role (multi-family preferred).
  • Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations.
  • HVAC/EPA certification strongly preferred.
ADA Physical Requirements of the Position:
  • Snow removal to include shoveling and snow blowing walk ways and stairs in the community
  • Must be able to perform job functions outdoors, in all weather conditions, approximately 25% of the time
  • Must be able to lift up to 80lbs, approximately10% of the time
  • Must be able to climb stairs approximately 10% of the time
  • Must be able to walk the Community grounds, approximately 15% of the time
  • Must be able to climb a ladder approximately 5% of the time
  • Must be able to sit at computer or desk approximately 20% of the time
