The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high level administrative support to the Executive Director (ED) and serves as a liaison with the Board of Directors in carrying out EPHC's mission. The EA must be creative and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment that is mission-driven and community oriented.

Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and bi-culturally competent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- 1 year office/administrative experience.
- Ability to greet and work with members of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive material concerning the organization and its staff members.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in all programs of Microsoft Office; demonstrated experience with preparation of PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently; be flexible and adapt well to different dynamics in a fast paced work environment.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate and concise reports.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which could include some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must have driver's license, access to vehicle and ability to obtain automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100).
- Satisfactory results from civil, criminal, and motor vehicle background check required
- Ability to support the mission, vision, and values of EPHC.
Essential Duties:
- Manages and maintains the ED schedule and communicates with staff and external partners on behalf of the ED.
- Works closely with the Board of Directors by scheduling committee meetings, creating agendas, transcribing minutes, and coordinating catering.
- Coordinates travel arrangements.
- Organizes schedules and creates agendas for meetings and conferences.
- Manages ED's e-mail correspondence calling attention to important matters.
- Drafts memos and company correspondence.
- Handles expense reports.
- Assists with coordinating and planning of special events.
- Organizes and maintains organizational archives.
- Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the ED and internal departments.
- Keeps the ED up to date on organizational activities.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Adheres to EPHC policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requires both in-person and remote work.
COMPENSATION: Annual Salary of $50,000-$55,000
