This is a Direct Hire Position with a Greensboro, NC Based Client

Job Title: Estimator Location: Greensboro, NC – some overnight travel

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates at various stages of design, from schematic and budget to detailed take-off and pricing. Building and nurturing client relationships will be a key focus. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and sales experience.

Required Skills

• Blueprint reading and interpretation

• Basic coatings, concrete, and building materials

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with CRM software

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Effective organizational abilities

• Self-motivation and a positive image branding mindset

• Efficient time management

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates

• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings

• Collaborate with the operations team during project turnover from proposal to execution

• Assist Project Managers with change orders as necessary

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in the field

• Knowledge of estimating software

• AAMP and/or ICRI certifications are a plus

• Basic understanding of contract and Insurance language
